The R.M. of Reciprocity is offering a dust suppressant program for the 2024 year using the product Fusion Dust Control. This is a beet juice product. Program specifics include:

• Cost share of up to a 200 metre by 7 metre site – 1/3 municipality, 2/3 ratepayer

  • Approximate Cost of $1,860/100 metres = $620 paid by the R.M. & $1,240 paid by the ratepayer

• Amounts over 200 metres can be applied at full cost to the ratepayer

• Contract is available at the office, must be completed and payment in full received by the R.M. before product will be ordered

• Deadline to submit contract and payment for initial application is May 15, 2024.

   

 Should a second application be warranted later in the summer/fall the same terms as indicated above for the first application will apply.

 

The R.M. will NOT be receiving any third-party payments. If you wish to receive funding from a third-party, oil companies included, it will be your responsibility to arrange the funding, invoice them directly and receive payment from them.

 

The dust suppressant will only be applied to roads under the jurisdiction of the R.M. of Reciprocity No. 32. There is no guarantee to the effectiveness of this product and the road will be graded should it become a hazard to the traveling public.
